The SAIF Corporation Agri-Business Banquet in Salem on January 18th is a celebration of the agricultural community and its impact on the mid-Willamette Valley.  Oregon agricultural production is the second-largest economic driver in the state, with a direct economic impact of 10% of the state’s total sales and 7% of its value-added activity. Nearly 12% of all jobs in Oregon are connected to farming and ranching, and about 97% of those farms and ranches are family owned and operated. Many have been in the same family for at least 100 years. (Source: Oregon Farm Bureau)

This rich and proud history is honored through special entertainment with a message. The banquet features a special guest speaker’s humor, inspiration, and business insight along with an appreciation for agricultural values. Each year they also recognize an outstanding Future Farmers of America student for leadership in shaping the future of the industry. This fun night honors a special part of Oregon’s history and culture while looking forward to its future.

SAIF Corporation and the Agribusiness Banquet is featuring keynote speaker, Steve Rizzo, The Attitude Adjuster. You can’t attend one of his keynote speeches, seminars, or read his books and leave with the same attitude. He’s a personal development expert, comedian, motivational speaker, and author. His popular PBS special brought him into millions of homes. It’s no surprise that he’s been inducted into the Speakers Hall of Fame, an honor bestowed upon fewer than 200 speakers worldwide since 1977. Click here to learn more about him!
